For more than two centuries, the Navy and the Marine Corps have operated as one entity. In 2009, however, Congressman Walter Jones from North Carolina introduced a bill, H.R. 24 that would establish the name change to The Department of the Navy and Marine Corps. This bill has the support of over 300 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives.

The Marine Corps has asked TRIO Media Group to assist them in getting the word out and to help generate additional support for the bill. TRIO has created an online presence for the cause, and will launch an exciting new site as well as a social media campaign to effectively spread the word to thousands of supporters!
